Electronic Fuel Consumption Measurement System
The Flowtrecs Wave is a measurement device that displays essential operational parameters for land, water, and air vehicles equipped with gasoline or diesel engines. The wide range of applications includes motorboats, yachts, light aircraft, paragliders, motorcycles, generators, oil burners, etc. The displayed parameters can be classified into two groups: current values, such as fuel consumption, fuel efficiency, RPM, speed, and battery voltage, and statistical data, such as average fuel consumption and average speed. Additional functions like the anchor alarm and MOB (Man Overboard) are also available. The device comes in various configurations to suit most applications, for single engines, dual engines, and diesel engines with power from 20 to 500 HP. Equipped with a bright, glass touchscreen, it provides excellent readability in sunlight, along with durable, precise sensors made from aluminum alloys with sapphire-bearing rotors. The fully waterproof housing (IP68) allows for use in virtually any weather conditions.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION (DIESEL ENGINES)
For diesel engines (with return flow), sensor selection requires certain actions by the user. You need to provide us with data on the capacity of your engine’s fuel pump. Fuel consumption is often much lower than the amount of fuel passing through the sensor. The best solution is to measure the maximum fuel flow returning to the tank (excess fuel). For example, engines consuming 50 l/h pump 100 l/h to the tank. In this case, a sensor for 150 l/h flow is needed (not 50 l/h).
RPM readings may require an additional Hall sensor, which is not included. Depending on the condition of your fuel pumps and injectors, additional components, such as a one-way valve and dampers, may be necessary. These are available separately.
Available Versions:
- SINGLE – 1 sensor for 1 gasoline engine
- DUO – 2 sensors for 2 gasoline engines
- DIESEL – 2 sensors for 1 diesel engine (with return flow)
- DUO DIESEL – 4 sensors for 2 diesel engines (with return flow)
Note – the product is available in several versions that differ by sensor size:
S for engines 20 – 60 HP (0.5 – 20 l/h) (inner diameter 1.2 mm)
M for engines 60 – 130 HP (1 – 40 l/h) (inner diameter 2 mm)
L for engines 130 – 250 HP (1.5 – 90 l/h) (inner diameter 3 mm)
XL for engines 250 – 350 HP (2 – 120 l/h) (inner diameter 4 mm)
XXL for engines 300 – 350 HP (3 – 180 l/h) (inner diameter 4.5 mm)
3XL for engines 350 HP and more (5 – 300 l/h) (inner diameter 6 mm)
Enables significant fuel savings!
