Product overview
The standard Flowtrecs Android BT uses a large, bright 7-inch touchscreen and a wireless Bluetooth connection to the sensor module. The panel is not waterproof: install it only inside an enclosed boat, in a dry cabin or at a fully protected indoor helm. The system supports configurations with 1, 2 or 4 FS-40 sensors.

Key features
Supports 1, 2 or 4-sensor variants: 1 for one petrol engine, 2 for two petrol engines or one diesel engine, and 4 for two diesel engines.
The panel is not waterproof and requires a dry mounting position inside an enclosed boat.
Displays consumption, fuel economy in km/l, RPM, speed, voltage, trip statistics and MOB.
A 1000-nit screen improves readability in bright surroundings.
GPS supports maps and navigation data.
Bluetooth reduces the wiring needed between the measuring module and display.
The sensor kit is factory-calibrated and configured for the ordered version. No manual calibration or selection of sensor type, range or count is needed for first use.
The display supplied with the kit is already paired with the Bluetooth module.

Connecting the RPM signal
Reading RPM from the ignition signal of a carbureted petrol engine requires an additional Tacho Pulse Limiter. Two versions are available: IN — for inboard engines and OUT — for outboard engines.
For fuel-injected engines (EFI/DFI), a limiter is typically not needed when using a suitable electronic tachometer output.
The limiter is used only for RPM readings and is not required to measure fuel consumption.
Diesel: an additional Hall sensor may be required if the engine does not provide a suitable electronic RPM signal.
