Product overview
FS-40 is a turbine fuel-flow sensor for petrol and diesel engines. Its aluminium housing and sapphire bearings are designed for continuous service in a fuel installation.
02
Key features
Six sizes cover flow rates from 0.5 to 300 litres per hour.
The impeller runs on sapphire bearings while a matched nozzle sets the working range.
The sensor works with Flowtrecs fuel computers.
Correct sizing supports accuracy at both low and maximum engine load.

Sensor selection: petrol versus diesel
For a typical petrol engine without a fuel return line, the engine-power bands shown in the shop are a practical starting point for sensor selection. Confirm the engine model and maximum fuel consumption. For a diesel with a return line, size each sensor for the minimum and maximum actual flow in its own line — supply and return separately — not engine power or net fuel burn alone.
System selection
Match the sensor to your engine.
Provide the engine model and count, fuel type, return-line layout and, if known, pump flow. We will help select the right model, sensor count and range.
